Work, Stress and Rest

 
 

Presenter: Dr. Michael Walcheski - What does it mean to serve Jesus and apply the gospel to our work in ministry as it relates to self-care?  We all have somewhat different relationships to work and ministry. But by and large, one of the biggest challenges we have is getting sabbath rest.  In our time together we’ll consider the role of work and rest, spend considerable time on the nature of stress in ministry, dimensions of it within our control, and strategies to manage the pressure and stress of ministry.

Cost: $25/person; Overnight option on November 10 is $154/room with two full size beds ($25/person for each additional person, up to four in a room). There is no meal provided on Sunday, November 10.
