Hermann Sasse (1895-1976) was perhaps the most important confessional Lutheran theologian of the twentieth century. This course will engage his writings on pastoral issues such as closed communion, the office of the ministry, liturgy, church fellowship, and women’s ordination. The group will read and discuss key essays from The Lonely Way, Volume II.
